Deer Run

I think I have a new favorite. I love this house. New construction homes is where it’s at for me. From picking/designing the floor plans, to picking out every single thing- from exterior to interior finishes- it’s just so much fun. One down in our quiet little cul-de-sac section of the neighborhood…and 9 more to go! I wish I could say new construction didn’t come with the headaches we know and love from flipping houses, but it does. And some different ones too. We definitely had some along the way with this one. Not only are we building new homes, but we are also developing a neighborhood. This brings even MORE headaches and hurdles…and we are definitely learning as we go. From installing infrastructure, the house being too big for the lot, the waiting game on engineers, materials and contractors, it tested our patience. However, the end product is amazing, which means I am looking forward to more!
